(Fear Contd.). EFT works wonderfully well on almost all fears. In order to use it, it's important to identify the situation, belief, and person who tends to create tension in you, because tension reveals fear. You need to pay attention to your body and find out where you register fear first; on useful method is to take a daily newspaper, read a headline, and monitor your body's reactions! In order to conquer Fear, you must apply Love in some way; Love means responding to your needs. One way of doing that is to learn one of the Energy Meridian therapies, some of which are listed below. See which method you feel drawn to. Love causes our energy systems to expand, and our body to relax; by dealing with stored fear and trauma you are applying the energy of Love, and accessing a resourceful state of being connected to your higher self. You will be able to find the answers to your problems or questions.
I recommend trying all of the methods listed below, choosing whichever seem most interesting or effective. Some you can learn right now, free, online. At the bottom of the list is a link to my own brand new technique for tackling the Ultimate Fears that can create energy reversal - the Automatic EFT Method.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is one skill I recommend everyone learn! Click here for the free downloadable pdf file 'Get started package'. (To save a pdf file, go to file, usually top left of the browser page, and choose save. Then set your desired destination folder; you may sometimes want to change the file name, too, so you remember what it is when it's on your computer!) I've had very good results with EFT; the essential thing is to target one issue at a time; and use a set-up phrase said with some energy to make sure your bodymind is accepting - i.e. in a loving state - so you can address your problem.
TAT therapy, or Tapas Acupressure Technique, is another energy therapy used to great effect with trauma victims. "TAT is a miraculous healing tool that combines lightly holding a few acupressure points on your head (the TAT Pose) as you put your attention on a problem (the Steps of TAT)". As it involves holding a hand position involving both hands, rather than tapping as in EFT, it is gentler. You can learn the steps free online.
Besetfreefast, or BSFF, is another energy meridian system of dealing with fear and trauma. It is "a highly focused Energy Therapy method for eliminating the emotional roots and self-limiting belief systems that are embedded in the subconscious mind". You can read the process steps www.jwbennette.com . It uses tapping and a cue word; you target your problem and then instruct your subconscious to remove it, using the cue word as the command to act. "Your subconscious mind does the actual treatment work--immediately and instantly--for you. It thoroughly eliminates that specific problem with just one use of your cue." The use of a cue word to command the subconscious to resolve problems you identify is similar to the following therapy, the Zpoint process.
The zpoint process also uses a cue word and very similar instructions for targeting and dealing with anger and fear; however, it doesn't use any tapping points at all. You can read or download the .pdf file free here. Zpoint uses an "Erase the Tape Method" to gain freedom from painful memories. I have used it on myself and found my subconscious mind more alert and responsive afterwards; it is simple though I have to admit I find it just a bit too mechanical. The secret lies in keeping focused on the problem you're addressing.
Dynamind is another quick and simple way of targeting problems and setting the subconscious the task of dealing with it. 1. Choose a physical, emotional, or mental problem to work on.
2. Bring both hands together with your fingertips touching.
3. Make the following statement, aloud or silently: "I have a problem, and that can change; I want that problem to go away."
4. With two or three fingers tap these points 7 times each: the center of your chest; the outer area between the thumb and index finger of both hands; the bone at the base of your neck.
5. Inhale with your attention focused on the top of your head; exhale with your attention on your toes.
6. Symptoms may change in intensity, location, or type. Repeat the above steps for continued benefit.
With all of these, the crucial part is to focus clearly on only one problem; if you could find yourself doing all the steps and still not getting anywhere - your energy system is almost certainly reversed! Focus on acceptance, appreciation or Love to shift to positive. (EFT's Setup statement: 'Even though I have this problem, I deeply love and accept myself' for instance.) Or congratulate yourself for making the effort to release your fears; bless yourself for wanting to be healed; or think of something you love! Or...try the Automatic EFT Method!
Fear is the inner experience of unease that can change to disease; our beliefs about ourselves are reflected back to us in our relationships and situations. I hope you'll find something here, on this page, to interest and enlighten you. However, in order to tackle the real inner cause of your current problems - a fundamental fear of 'not being loved' - I believe the only method truly effective is my own Automatic EFT. It's the only method that uses the power of tapping, the power of the subconscious mind from within the paradigm of pure, unconditional Love and coherence. br>
Whatever method you decide to try, you will learn from it and grow in understanding of yourself. But the basic message of these pages is that only Love conquers Fear; and by applying Love to yourself in some way you are truly healing yourself on all levels.
Deep Trance Now is a site with lots of free stuff, including free mp3 downloads for hypnosis. The teachings include a method for changing outcomes, by repeating an action that went wrong (hitting your thumb with a hammer for instance!) and changing the ending. After repeating the 'new' outcome, that's what becomes true. There are lots of other teachings and methods out there - so have fun and keep in touch!
Remember you are never separated from the source of love, except in your own beliefs. The energy of love is real, and can be experienced any time you choose to focus on the feelings and emotions of appreciation, thankfulness and admiration. Don't compare yourself to others; give up self-criticism for a minute, an hour, then a week; see what happens! Looking for things to like and appreciate about ourselves is work that's always hugely rewarded by new insights, and releases of tension. You can always recognise Love - it's relaxed, warm, flowing, kind, strong, wise, harmonious, graceful and beautiful. Love causes us to expand, reach out, accept, enjoy, connect. If you can find one of those qualities anywhere around or inside of you, and focus on it, you will forge a link with your inner self. No matter how long ago it may have been broken, it's always repairable, just by applying Love. And for Love, the time is always now!
